Located in Kobe's Chuo Ward, this Japanese garden was built in the Taisho era. Dotted with seasonal flowers and trees and buildings designated as important cultural properties, it is a relaxing spot that will help you forget the hustle and bustle of the city.
Sorakuen is a Japanese garden with a stroll around the pond, and is designed so that you can enjoy a variety of scenery around the pond. Aquatic creatures such as carp and turtles swim in the pond, and trees such as pine and bamboo are planted along the banks of the pond. The park also has facilities such as a tea room and a teahouse.

Sorakuen is also known for its seasonal flowers. Especially in spring, when the azaleas and cherry blossoms are in full bloom, many people visit. In addition, the autumn leaves are beautiful and it is the perfect season to enjoy a walk.
