Located in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Hoshi no Kokan is a children's center where children can learn about stars and the universe in a fun way. The center offers a variety of space-themed facilities, including a large telescope and an astronomical observatory, ensuring a memorable experience for the whole family.

The telescope is open daily (except on holidays) at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with reservations required and free of charge.

In addition to the large telescope, the center also features exhibits related to stars and the universe, as well as a playroom where children can get active and play. Handmade craft experiences and stargazing classes are also regularly held, allowing children to learn while they play. Accommodation is also available, allowing children to relax and enjoy the starry sky at night.
