Enshrined in Inuyama City is the god of safe childbirth, fertility, and matchmaking. Also known as Hime no Miya, this popular power spot is worshipped as the guardian deity of women and is surrounded by history and nature.
Located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, Oagata Shrine is a historic shrine that has long been worshipped as the guardian deity of women. Its main deity is Oagata no Okami, the ancestral deity of the Owari region's development. The shrine is particularly known for granting safe childbirth, fertility, and matchmaking. Because of these blessings, the shrine is also known as "Hime no Miya" (Princess's Palace), and many worshippers flock to the shrine, believing it answers women's concerns and wishes. The grounds are surrounded by abundant nature and exude a solemn atmosphere.

Oagata Shrine's greatest appeal is its unique atmosphere. Within the grounds, there is "Hime no Miya," where prayers for women's health, safe childbirth, and fertility are offered, and many votive plaques are offered. The approach to the main shrine is lined with cedar trees several hundred years old, creating a sacred atmosphere. A leisurely stroll through the grounds allows you to immerse yourself in the weight of history and the beauty of nature.

Behind the main shrine building of Himenomiya is Musuhi Pond, a pond associated with matchmaking.
