Zensui-ji Temple, located in Iwane, Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, is a temple whose main hall is a national treasure and is one of the three Konan mountains. Surrounded by nature throughout the four seasons, it is a popular spot where history and nature come together in harmony, offering spectacular views especially during the autumn foliage season.
Zensui-ji Temple, located in Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, is a historic temple said to have been founded during the Nara period. The main hall, rebuilt during the Kamakura period, is a designated National Treasure.

The temple grounds are home to many historical structures, including the Main Hall, a National Treasure, as well as the Important Cultural Property Seated Statue of Yakushi Nyorai, the Wooden Standing Statues of the Four Heavenly Kings, and the Wooden Standing Statue of Acala.

The greatest attraction of Zensui-ji Temple is its beautiful scenery. Located in the mountains, the temple grounds are surrounded by abundant nature, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. The autumn foliage, in particular, is known as one of the most spectacular views in the Kansai region, attracting many tourists.

To coincide with the peak of autumn foliage viewing, the "National Treasure Konan Sanzan Autumn Foliage Tour" is held from mid-November to early December. The foliage is illuminated on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during this period.
