This industrial heritage park in Misaki Town preserves the entire Showa-era mining town and station. Visit the Mining Museum and the former Katakami Railway Yoshigahara Station to take retro photos and learn about the area at the same time.
The museum (fee required) realistically recreates the interior of the mine and life in the 1950s, providing an easy-to-understand explanation of the mine's workings and the tools used at the time. Outdoors, there's a replica of a Takase boat and scattered grassy areas, making it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll.

Retro trains and heavy railway machinery are displayed like sculptures in the park.

The park is beautifully maintained, and the abandoned railway line has been repurposed as a cycling path.

While there is an admission fee to enter the mine museum, the station and park are free to use.

[Trivia]
This area was used as a filming location for the TV drama "The Inugami Family" and the movie "Tonbi." The station building and yard have been praised for their state of preservation.
