The Bridge Science Museum uses models, videos, and actual components to clearly explain the construction and maintenance of the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge. A 40-meter-long wind tunnel model is displayed in the atrium, allowing visitors to learn about cutting-edge bridge technology that combats earthquakes, wind, and currents. The 3D theater and 360-degree VR experience (age restrictions apply) are also popular.

Through a variety of hands-on experiences, including experiments and crafts, visitors can understand the bridge's structure and mechanisms.

The glass-walled lounge on the south side of the museum offers a close-up view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge spanning the sea, making it the perfect spot for a short break. It's easy to visit the adjacent Maiko Marine Promenade and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Museum, and a combined ticket allows visitors to enjoy harbor views, architecture, and science all at once.

From spring to fall, the "Akashi Kaikyo Bridge Bridge World" event is also available, where visitors can walk along the maintenance path and ascend to the main tower, approximately 300 meters above sea level. (Reservations required, junior high school students and older, limited dates available.)
