One of Japan's largest art museums, where you can view world-famous paintings in full size. With a wide range of interactive exhibits, including the Sistine Hall and the Last Supper Room, this is a popular spot in Tokushima and Naruto, perfect for rainy day sightseeing or family trips.
The Otsuka Museum of Art is a ceramic panel museum showcasing life-size reproductions of masterpieces from approximately 190 museums in 26 countries. With over 1,000 works on display and a 4km-long pathway, visitors can explore the history of Western art. Highlights include the Sistine Hall, a reconstruction of the Vatican's Sistine Chapel, and immersive exhibits such as Da Vinci's "The Last Supper," displayed before and after restoration. Also worth checking out are Picasso's "Guernica" and works by Van Gogh.

On the B2 floor, there's a special outdoor exhibition area where you can view Monet's "Water Lilies" in natural light. June to September is the best time for the lilies to bloom in the surrounding ponds.

The museum also features a shop, cafe, and restaurant, making it easy to combine a visit with a rest.

Photography is permitted inside the museum. (Flashes, tripods, and other fixed devices are not permitted. Commercial use is not permitted.)

Located within Naruto Park, known for its whirlpools, it's easy to plan a tour that combines the Uzu no Michi and a sightseeing boat ride. Plan a leisurely half-day to full-day visit and ensure you see your favorite masterpieces along the way to maximize your satisfaction.
