Haniwakko Square is a playground dotted with motifs inspired by the Mineyama Kofun Group. With a wide range of playground equipment, including a long roller slide, Tarzan ropes, a three-dimensional rope net, a playground complex, and an area for toddlers, it's designed to be easy for families with children to play together. The combination of grass and shaded areas makes it a comfortable place to spread out a picnic blanket and take a lunch break. With cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall, it's also a popular spot for family photos.

The square is located on a slightly elevated ridge, allowing for a breeze and excellent views. A short walk leads to an observation point, offering views of Takamatsu city, the Seto Inland Sea, and the ridgeline of Yashima.

A thin rug and gloves are recommended for a comfortable ride on the roller slide.
While many of the park's paths are well-maintained and stroller-friendly, there are also some steep slopes, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The park is large, so finding the locations of restrooms and vending machines in advance will make it easier to move around with children.
