The Kagawa Prefectural Museum is located in Takamatsu City and exhibits history and art mainly from the surrounding area.
In addition to displaying history and art, the museum also places great emphasis on outreach and educational activities.

The building is a comprehensive museum where you can learn about everything from Kagawa's history and folklore to modern and contemporary art. The third floor houses the history exhibits, the second floor houses permanent and special exhibitions, and the first floor houses a shop, cafe, and hands-on learning room, allowing you to experience the prefecture's culture in three dimensions as you wander around.

The history exhibition room features exhibits related to the history and culture of Kagawa Prefecture.
