Located on the first floor of Narama no Koji, north of the scenic historical quarter where white-walled streets continue, Masuya is a townhouse-style restaurant that's easy to drop into from the tourist route.

The restaurant's signature dish is Kurashiki Niboshi Ramen, a double soup made with grilled sardine paste and pork bone broth. The restaurant's premium additive-free egg noodles are a perfect match with handmade roast pork, bamboo shoots, spicy simmered wakame stems, and a boiled egg. The restaurant's other main dish, Kurashiki Soy Sauce Ramen, harmonizes rich pork bone broth with a sharp soy sauce made with local tiger soy sauce.

The restaurant has around 17 seats, mostly at the counter, making it convenient for solo travelers and families alike.
