A long-established cafe on Miyuki Street, a 5-minute walk from Himeji Station. Established in 1975, it is known for its siphon coffee and Himeji's famous almond toast. It's the perfect place for breakfast or morning meals while sightseeing in Himeji or exploring Himeji Castle.
Hamamoto Coffee has been a local favorite for nearly half a century. Beans are carefully selected in-house and brewed individually using a siphon. In addition to blends and seasonal "seasonal blends," singles like Mandheling are also available. The aroma is intense, creating a pleasant atmosphere unique to a cafe.

The signature item is "Himeji's Specialty Almond Toast." A generous amount of almond butter, made in-house with almond powder, diced, and sliced almonds, is placed on thick slices of bread. The almonds are baked to a crispy exterior and a chewy interior, and the shop does not sell butter for takeout, ensuring a "taste you can only get in-store." Their coffee jelly and croque monsieur are also popular.

Located directly connected to the arcade, it's perfect for rainy days. Himeji Castle is about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to incorporate into sightseeing itineraries. This highly versatile shop is perfect for everything from a morning cup of coffee to strolling around the castle town or buying beans for a return visit.
