Kiri no Mori Roadside Station is a popular roadside station located along the Kochi Expressway and Prefectural Route 5. It is a popular spot where you can enjoy swimming in the clear stream, soaking in hot springs, and trying the local specialty sweet, Kiri no Mori Daifuku.
Kiri no Mori Roadside Station, located in Shikokuchuo City, Ehime Prefecture, is nestled amid the natural beauty of Shingu Town. It offers a wide selection of local souvenirs, including Kiri no Mori Daifuku, a Shingu Town specialty. Kiri no Mori Daifuku, in particular, is a beloved delicacy, boasting an exquisite blend of matcha aroma and a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Kiri no Mori's greatest draw is the activities that take advantage of its beautiful natural surroundings. The clear Umatate River, flowing right next to the roadside station, offers riverside fun in the summer, popular with both children and adults. The river's crystal clear water is refreshing.

The station also houses the day-use hot spring facility, Kiri no Mori Koto-kan, where you can relax and soothe your tired body after a day of exploring. It features a large indoor bath, an open-air tub bath, and a sauna. The exceptional quality of the spring water, rich in metaboric acid, makes it relaxing. It stays warm and comfortable even after you exit, and the lukewarm water leaves your skin feeling smooth.

Kiri no Mori isn't just a place to buy souvenirs; you can also enjoy a meal. The restaurant serves dishes made with local Shingu ingredients, as well as soba noodles. There's also a wide selection of dishes using Shingu tea, so you can savor your meal while savoring the aroma of the tea.
