Nariishi-no-hama is a beach in Kotoura Town, Tottori Prefecture, where the stones that are curled up by the waves crashing on the beach make a clicking sound.
Oval stones called gorata stones are piled up all along the coast, and as the waves ebb and flow, these stones collide with each other, producing a unique sound.

Because the stones make a ringing sound, it is known as a place where "it rings well, it gets better, it gets better, and it's an auspicious place.'' It is said that if you write a wish on a stone and throw it into the sea, your wish will come true.
