A clear stream spot at the entrance to the Hiruzen Plateau. Parents and children can enjoy playing in the river and water in the shallows of the Myoretsu River. A hidden summer park with free parking and toilets.
Kawakami River Park is a riverside park developed to promote the waterfront of the Myoren River, which flows from the Hiruzen Plateau. Wide stairs lead down to the river, and the shallows are mostly just above an adult's knees at their deepest, making it an appealing place for families with small children. The water remains cool even in summer, making it a popular spot among locals as a cool spot to cool off on a hot summer's day. A convenience store is nearby, making it easy to find drinks and supplies.

Free parking and restrooms (next to the Gohara Lacquerware Museum) are available on-site, making it easy to rest and change clothes. The riverbed is often covered in boulders, so non-slip water shoes are recommended. Some areas are deep and have fast currents, so wearing a life jacket and keeping an eye on the water are essential. There are no foot washing areas or showers, so it's helpful to bring bottled water for washing.

Parking is located behind the 7-Eleven and the Gohara Lacquerware Museum.

[Useful Concerns]
The surrounding area is also a habitat for giant salamanders, so collecting wildlife and aquatic life is prohibited. The park's rules require visitors to play while protecting nature.
