The Ohashi Family Residence in Kurashiki is an Edo-period townhouse building located near the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. It has been designated as a national important cultural property.
The Ohashi family residence retains much of the architecture of a townhouse from the Edo period, allowing you to get a glimpse of what life was like back then.
There are many reproductions of the exterior of the town in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, but if you want to experience the atmosphere of real life during the Edo period, we recommend this facility.
