This is a forest where you can enjoy easy mountain climbing and hiking.
The environment is fairly well-maintained, making it easy to walk.

There are many different insects, so it's a good place for children to catch them.

However, since it's a natural mountain, snakes and bees are also present, so it's best to dress appropriately, such as with long pants and long sleeves.

For hiking, Tatsunokuchi Green Shower Forest is covered with well-maintained walking trails, ranging from circular trails with little elevation change to hiking trails leading to observation points. Fresh greenery, autumn foliage, and bird watching are also attractive. Parking and restrooms are available. Trekking shoes are recommended in some slippery areas. Protect yourself from insects in the summer and warm clothes in the winter. The main trailheads are the west entrance adjacent to the parking lot and the east entrance on the residential side. The summit of Tatsunokuchi, approximately 257 meters above sea level, takes a leisurely 60-90 minute hike. From the ridge, you'll enjoy views of the Seto Inland Sea. Benches and resting huts are scattered throughout, making it an ideal spot for families and trail runners.

Environmental maintenance is also supported by the Tatsunokuchi Green Shower Forest Preservation Society, which voluntarily picks up trash and cleans the restrooms. Anyone can participate in these activities. For more information, please visit the official website.
