This stone oven bakery is located in the center of Akaiwa City. They bake natural yeast dough directly into the oven, and their curry bread and savory bread are popular. They have a small eat-in area and terrace seating, making it the perfect place for a drive or picnic lunch!
Mugi no Hige Akaiwa Stone Oven Bakery specializes in breads baked in a Spanish stone oven that are "fragrant on the outside and chewy on the inside." Signature items include curry bread filled with plenty of fillings and cylindrical round loaf of bread made with maple syrup. A wide variety is available, from savory breads to hard breads and sandwiches, with a rich selection available from morning onwards.

The complimentary mini cup of freshly ground coffee provided to customers is also popular.

Takeout is a popular way to combine it with a visit to a nearby park or sightseeing spot.
