One of the three greatest castles in Japan is Osaka Castle
Osaka Castle, one of the three greatest castles in Japan, was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi but fell in the siege of Osaka in the summer of 1615 to Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Later, to eliminate the Toyotomi influence, the largest castle in Japan was reconstructed by Tokugawa Ieyasu. The castle tower is a concrete replica building.

The castle tower is famous as a symbol of Osaka Castle. The reconstructed tower reproduces the luxurious residence of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and exhibits his life and the Battle of Osaka in its interior. The view from the top of the castle tower is breathtaking, and visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka City.

There is a huge 32-tatami stone wall, the largest in Japan, at Honmaru Sakuramon gate.

Except for the castle tower, admission to the castle grounds is free. There are also snack bars and souvenir shops on the premises.

Osaka Castle Park is a vast park with lush greenery and waterways, offering beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. During the cherry blossom season, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, attracting many tourists.

The parking lot is located on the east side.
