Saigoku 26th Ichijoji Temple

Ichijoji is a temple of the Tendai sect in Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture, and is one of the oldest temples since 650 AD.
Ichijoji Temple is said to have been built by Hodo Sennin at the request of Emperor Kotoku. During the Heian period, Emperor Godaigo built the largest auditorium in the west country and prospered as an important temple.

The three-storied pagoda is designated as a National Treasure at Saigoku Sanjusansho No. 26.
Many worshipers visit.
