Koto Sanzan Kongorinji Temple is a temple of the Tendai sect located in Matsuoji, Aisho-cho, Aichi-gun, Shiga Prefecture. It is one of the Koto Sanzan (Three Mountains of Koto), and is also a famous place for autumn leaves called “blood-stained autumn leaves”.
The main hall was built in the Kamakura period and is designated as a national treasure.
The three-storied pagoda was built in the Muromachi period and is designated as an important cultural property.
Nitenmon was built in the middle of the Edo period and is designated as an important cultural property.
