Horinji is a temple on the north side of Horyuji.
The three-storied pagoda standing in a peaceful location is impressive. The three-storied pagoda was destroyed by lightning in 1944 and rebuilt in 1975.

There are highlights such as the Yakushi Nyorai seated statue, the Kokuzo Bosatsu statue, and the eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva statue in the storage.
