Kimpusen-ji Temple

Kinpusenji is the head temple of Mt.Yoshino.
Yoshinoyama was once the center of the Southern Court during the period of the Northern and Southern Courts.
It has long been popular as a cherry blossom viewing spot.

Zao is the second largest wooden building after Todaiji, and is designated as a national treasure.
Although it was destroyed by fire many times, the existing building is a historic building rebuilt in 1591 AD.
There are also many national treasures and important cultural properties.

The parking lot is the Yoshinoyama parking lot. (Reservations required during the cherry blossom season) A shuttle bus leaves from the suburban parking lot during the cherry blossom season.

If you take the train, get off at Yoshino Station on the Kintetsu Yoshino Line and take the Yoshino Ropeway.
