Kurama Temple is located in Kurama, the terminal station of the Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Line.
Physical strength is required as there are many stairs.
There is also a cable car, but it is not possible to go to the top, and there is "Yuki Shrine" on the way, so if you are confident in your physical strength, it may be better to walk up. I think it's okay to walk back and have fun even if it's a little bit.

If you feel like trekking or mountain climbing, there is also a course (1-2 hours) that goes from Kurama Temple to Kifune Shrine.

Nearby is Kurama Onsen, which can be used as a day trip hot spring for a bathing fee of 1,000 yen.
[Mountain entrance fee]
300 yen

[Admission fee for Kuramayama Museum]
200 yen

[Cable car]
One way: 100 yen
Round trip: 200 yen
*The cable car is under construction until late April 2016.
