The big advantage of Sankyu Park is the overwhelming scale of the cherry blossoms and the beauty of the illuminated cherry blossoms at night. In spring, the entire mountain is covered in a pale pink hue with about 5,000 cherry trees. The daytime is also wonderful, but the illumination of the cherry blossoms at night during the flowering period is fantastic, showing a different look than during the day, attracting many tourists.

The park also has a "Folktale Village" where stone statues related to fairy tales such as the Flowering Old Man are scattered, making it an enjoyable place for families with children. The fact that admission is free is also a big attraction that makes it easy to visit.
