The big advantage of the Kuze Tunnel Sakura is the overwhelming scale of the cherry blossoms and the fact that you can experience a cherry blossom tunnel without leaving your car. Somei-Yoshino cherry trees are planted for about 1 km, and when in full bloom, the branches of the cherry blossoms cover the entire road, creating a fantastical scene as if you were driving through a pink tunnel.
