Kurashiki Ivy Square is a red brick complex located in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. It houses a hotel, museum, workshops, and restaurants, allowing you to experience history and culture.
Kurashiki Ivy Square is located in Honmachi, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, at the eastern end of the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. It was redeveloped from the head office factory of Kurashiki Spinning Co., Ltd. (now Kurabo Industries, Ltd.), which was built in 1889, and the red brick building covered in ivy is impressive. The facility includes accommodation facilities, Kurashiki Ivy Square, the Kurabo Memorial Hall, which introduces the history of Kurashiki Spinning Co., Ltd., the Aimi Kobo, where you can experience pottery and painting, restaurants, and souvenir shops.

The building, which has been preserved as it was in the former factory, exudes a retro-modern atmosphere and is enjoyable even just to walk around. At the Kurabo Memorial Hall, you can see the history of the spinning industry that supported the modernization of Kurashiki and valuable materials from that time. At the Aimi Kobo, you can experience pottery and painting to make original vessels, and create works that will be a memorable memory of your trip.

Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you can use it for a day trip and enjoy dining at the restaurant, choosing souvenirs at the shop, and activities at the experience workshop.
