Located in Naramachi, this long-established Japanese confectionery store was founded in 1913. They offer seasonal fresh confections and traditional dried confections using high-quality ingredients and expert techniques. You can enjoy Japanese confections while feeling the atmosphere of Nara in a charming townhouse.
They are famous for their delicate fresh sweets that express the beauty of each season, and their dried sweets that have a motif of Nara's history. The wagashi are carefully handmade by artisans using carefully selected ingredients, and are characterized by their beautiful appearance and refined sweetness.

Traditional wagashi such as warabi mochi, kuzu mochi, dorayaki, and castella are popular. The wagashi have a simple, traditional taste.

The interior of the shop retains the atmosphere of a traditional townhouse, giving it a charming feel. You can take them home as souvenirs, or take your time savoring seasonal wagashi and matcha tea in the shop.
