This is the base facility for the Chikusa area of ​​Shiso City, Hyogo Prefecture. The facility's main attraction is the Egaiya Onsen, a restaurant with spacious Japanese-style seating, and a fitness center with training equipment. Admission is free, and guests can choose between hot springs, meals, or exercise based on their purpose. Located in a tranquil setting along the Chikusa River, it's also a convenient resting spot after a drive, a walk along the stream, or a swim in the river.

The hot spring is a circulating system that heats and recycles cold mineral springs at a temperature of 17.3°C. Both men's and women's baths feature indoor baths, waterfall baths, and saunas. The policy is to not add water or bath salts. The spacious bathtub and washing area with handrails make it convenient for seniors and families. Amenities (shampoo, conditioner), hair dryers, and towels are available for purchase next to the ticket machine. Cash payment only.

The on-site restaurant primarily serves set meals, noodles, and rice bowls made with ingredients from the Chikusa River basin. Popular dishes include venison croquettes, mountain vegetable tempura, fried Tajima chicken, and rice cooked in a pot with local rice.

The surrounding area is a treasure trove of outdoor activities. Upstream, Chikusa Plateau offers hiking in all seasons and skiing in winter, while the riverside Chikusa Roadside Station is popular for its dog run and day camping. The pure waters of the Chikusa River are so clear that it has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. Enjoy playing in the river in summer and taking a drive to see the autumn leaves in autumn.
