An island located in Takehara, Hiroshima Prefecture, in the Seto Inland Sea, which has become famous for YouTube videos of countless rabbits.
It was also the site of the production of chemical weapons after World War I, and there are ruins of related facilities as well as the Okunoshima Poison Gas Museum.

It is now a holiday village that attracts many tourists.

To access it, there is a ferry that departs from Tadanoumi Port in Takehara City to Omishima via Okunoshima.
Ferries run about once every 30 minutes to an hour, so there are relatively many trips.
