Kakinokimura Roadside Station is a roadside station surrounded by nature, located along the Takatsu River, known as one of Japan's cleanest rivers. Here, you can find an abundance of the bounty of the countryside, including fresh vegetables and fruits just picked in Yoshiga Town and the surrounding area, and rice grown in the pure waters. The products, painstakingly made by local producers, are extremely fresh and very popular as souvenirs. In particular, the seasonal produce is not to be missed.

In addition to the product sales area, there is also a snack corner offering homemade side dishes, bento boxes, bread, and more. The simple yet flavorful dishes, which make use of local ingredients, are perfect for lunch or a break during your trip. It's also nice to enjoy a meal surrounded by nature while listening to the murmuring of the clear stream.

You can descend to the Takatsu River bank via stairs.
