Ochidani Shrine was founded in the Edo period and was formerly known as Inaba Toshogu Shrine. It is known for granting academic success and good fortune in career advancement.
This is a historic shrine that enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo Shogunate. It is also known as Ochidani Shrine, and is said to have been built by Ikeda Mitsunaka, the first lord of the Tottori domain, modeled after Nikko Toshogu Shrine.

The main hall and Karamon gate are designated as Important Cultural Properties.

It is not flashy, but it is a beautiful shrine with a quiet presence.

It is also known as a power spot, with many people visiting during exam season and when people pray for promotion.

Visitors are free to enter the shrine, and parking is free.
