Located on a hill at the confluence of the Umasarai River and the Saijo River in Miyoshi City, Ozekiyama Park is one of the prefecture's most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, with about 600 cherry trees planted. In spring, the entire mountain is covered in pale pink cherry blossoms, and the magnificent scenery captivates visitors. From the park, you can look down on Miyoshi city and the clear stream, and enjoy the contrast between the beautiful cherry blossoms and the majestic nature. The park is also lit up at night, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic night view of the cherry blossoms.

The night cherry blossom illumination is held from 18:00 to 22:00.

Ozekiyama Park is a historic park developed on the site of Ozekiyama Castle, which was once the residence of the Asano clan, the lord of Miyoshi. Remains of the castle's stone walls and moats remain in the park, allowing you to stroll around while feeling the atmosphere of history. Besides cherry blossom season, seasonal flowers such as azaleas and hydrangeas bloom here, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery in the seasons of fresh greenery and autumn leaves. It's a great place to enjoy a picnic with the family or to take a stroll and learn about the history of Miyoshi City.

Nearby is Hogenji Temple, which is associated with the Chushingura story.
