Roadside Station Yunokawa in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, is adjacent to Yunokawa Onsen, famous as one of Japan's three most beautiful hot springs. It is a relaxing spot where you can enjoy local specialties, gourmet food, and foot baths.
Roadside Station Yunokawa is located in Gakuzu, Hikawa-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, at the entrance to Yunokawa Onsen, known as one of Japan's three most beautiful hot springs. On the premises, there is a free foot bath using the source water of Yunokawa Onsen, where you can easily experience the skin-beautifying hot springs while soothing the fatigue of your drive. The direct sales store on the premises is popular for its wide selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, clams, and various processed products made with the specialty Shussai ginger from Hikawa-cho, as well as local rice and vegetables.

The restaurant "Shoku no En" offers a variety of menus that make full use of local ingredients. You can enjoy original menus such as Izumo soba (warigo soba), clam rice set using clams from Lake Shinji, and Goen burger with Shussai ginger. There is also a menu supervised by the chef of the adjacent inn, so you can enjoy authentic flavors. The cafe corner offers coffee and light meals, so you can take a relaxing break.

[Trivia] Yunokawa Onsen is one of Japan's three most beautiful hot springs, and legend has it that the dragon god transformed into a young woman and enjoyed the hot springs, becoming beautiful as a result. The hot springs contain ingredients with excellent moisturizing properties, making them popular with women seeking beautiful skin.
