Inasa Beach is located in Kitsukikita, Taisha-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, and is a beautiful coastline that stretches about 1 km west of Izumo Taisha Shrine. It is a scenic spot that has been selected as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan," and the beauty of the sunset is particularly exceptional. The sight of the sun setting on the horizon dyeing the sea surface crimson red is breathtaking, and many tourists and photography enthusiasts visit the beach. On the beach, there is a small island called "Benten Island," where the gods are said to have descended, and its unique scenery creates a mysterious atmosphere.

Inasa Beach is also an important setting in Japanese mythology. It is the place where Okuninushi-no-Okami negotiated the "transfer of the country" with Takemikazuchi-no-Okami, the messenger of Amaterasu-Omikami, and is known as a power spot where you can feel the world of mythology.

It's not one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan, but it's a popular photo spot with many people taking pictures in the evening.
