In particular, products using "Yamada Nishiki" (sake rice), a specialty of Kato City, and sweets using fresh local eggs are popular.

The restaurant "Shishigin" is popular for its tonkatsu and fried shrimp set meals. Also, at the station ramen shop "Hana," you can enjoy the nostalgic taste of Banshu ramen, a local ramen from Kita Harima.

There is a Family Mart convenience store on the premises, so it is convenient to purchase daily necessities.

At Lake Tojo, which is a short drive away, you can find "Tojo Lake Toy Kingdom."

Yamada Nishiki, known as the king of sake rice, was created at the Hyogo Prefectural Agricultural Experiment Station in 1936 (Showa 11), and is used in many sake breweries across the country, in addition to famous brands such as "Dassai" and "Hakutsuru."
