This roadside station is located at the entrance to JR Chotokyo Station and the Chotokyo Promenade along National Route 9. At the information corner and direct sales shop "Ato no Megumi", you can purchase tomatoes, pears, apples, honey, and the local specialty "Ato Wagyu beef". The rice flour soft serve ice cream is made with local rice and has a gentle sweetness, making it the perfect place to stop by on your trip.

The apple pie made with Tokusa apples from the confectionery factory "Ringo no Ki Rara" is also popular.

At the restaurant "Choushu", the beef bowl and sukiyaki-style bowl made with Atou Wagyu beef, as well as the limited-edition Atou Wagyu beef ramen (limited to 10 bowls) are popular. During lunchtime from 11:00 to 14:30, a menu that allows you to fully enjoy the local flavors is available, and if you visit when the SL Yamaguchi passes by, you may be able to see it through the window.

There is a hiking trail from the roadside station to Chotokyo that takes about an hour to walk one way.
There are walking trails where you can enjoy the magnificent nature of Chotokyo, and they are perfect for some light exercise after a meal or for observing nature. Beautiful scenery spreads out before you in every season, and the autumn leaves are especially breathtaking.
