The popular direct sales store is lined with a wide variety of freshly picked vegetables and fruits, as well as handmade processed foods. Niho pears and chestnuts, which are Niho region specialties, are especially popular when in season.

Specialties include the potato shochu "Shiroyama" and fried silken tofu "Kaminari tofu."

Within the facility, there is a restaurant called "Niho Gohan" where you can enjoy meals made with local ingredients. Set meals using plenty of seasonal vegetables and menus that are arrangements of local dishes unique to the area are popular. In the snack corner, you can also enjoy sweets that are perfect for a break during a drive, such as soft-serve ice cream made with local milk and original gelato.

The Niho River behind the site is famous for the sight of carp streamers swimming from early April to early May. The surrounding area is dotted with tourist attractions such as the Ohga lotus and meteorite monument at Genkyuji Temple, and the five-story pagoda at Rurikoji Temple, making it a perfect base for nature walks and historical tours.
The Joshinji Temple Sesshu Garden can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
