Floral Island Direct Sales always has a wide selection of onions, a specialty of Awaji Island, as well as fresh vegetables delivered from local farmers, and flower and tree seedlings. There are also locally produced goods, seasonal jams, and herbal products.

The store's specialty is grilled whole octopus.

Adjacent to the roadside station are the Nakahama Minoru Cat Art Museum and the Ceramics Museum, and on the sea side is Shiohama Park and the Ura Prefectural Sun Beach, a swimming beach where children can play.
