Bios Ogata Roadside Station in Kuroshio Town, Kochi Prefecture, is a roadside station with a spectacular view facing the Pacific Ocean. It is rich in fresh seafood and local specialties, and you can enjoy the tropical Tosa region along with the beautiful beaches in the surrounding area.
Roadside Station Bios Ogata is a roadside station located on a hilltop overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean in Kuroshio-cho, Hata-gun, Kochi Prefecture. At the direct sales store, there is a wide selection of fresh seafood caught in the nearby seas, with bonito and horse mackerel being particularly popular. There is also a wide selection of fresh locally harvested vegetables, fruits, and processed foods, allowing you to fully experience the bounty of Kuroshio-cho.

At the restaurant, you can enjoy seafood unique to Tosa, such as seafood bowls and set meals made with freshly caught seafood, and seared bonito. With a panoramic view of the vast Pacific Ocean from the windows, you can enjoy your meal in an open atmosphere.

They also offer the specialty "seared bonito burger."

From the observation bench, you can also enjoy a magnificent view of the endless horizon of the Pacific Ocean, and at dusk, you can enjoy the fantastic sight of the beautiful sunset sinking into the sea. It is also a popular photogenic spot, allowing you to take a memorable photo of your trip.

A little-known secret spot: Irino Beach, just a few minutes' drive from the roadside station, is a beautiful stretch of white sand that stretches for about 4km. In the summer, it's crowded with beachgoers, but early in the morning or at dusk, there are fewer people, making it the perfect time to stroll along the shore and quietly gaze out at the sea. There's also a small fishing port nearby that's used by locals, where you can get a glimpse of the bustling fishing industry.
Irino Beach hosts a limited-time T-shirt art exhibition every year (around Golden Week) as the Beach Museum.
