The enshrined deity of Masumida Shrine is Amenohoakari no Mikoto. Amano Ame no Mikoto is a god who deified the sun, and is said to bring benefits such as job luck, career luck, good fortune and warding off evil, and the prosperity of descendants.
Masumida Shrine is widely revered by the entire Owari district as the Ichinomiya of Owari Province. It is also a popular tourist spot, with approximately 400,000 worshipers visiting every year for New Year's visits.
The recommended way to enjoy Masumida Shrine is to visit it. The main shrine was rebuilt in the late Edo period and is designated as a national important cultural property.
