Tom Sawyer Ranch, located in Okanari, Yonago City, at the foot of Mt. Daisen, is a place where you can interact with about 30 kinds of animals, including alpacas, ponies, goats, and sheep. Through animal feeding (additional charge) and pony riding (500 yen per lap), children and adults alike can enjoy interacting with nature and animals.
The grounds also have a large lawn and athletic facilities, so you can relax in a picnic mood.
The ranch regularly holds workshops such as butter making and sheep shearing shows. In summer, camping and barbecues are popular, taking advantage of the cool highland climate. The seasonal specialty, the "ranch soft serve ice cream," is made with 100% local milk and is especially special when enjoyed while watching the animals.
