Nakaura Tairyo Market, located near the roadside station, is a seafood theme park with crabs, fresh fish, and dried fish delivered directly from Sakaiminato. It is a tourist base where you can also enjoy fresh rice bowls at the attached seafood restaurant.
Sakaiminato is one of Japan's leading fishing ports, with a wide variety of seafood landed here. At Nakaura Fishing Market, you can buy fresh seafood directly from local fishermen.

Inside the market, there are a variety of shops, including fishmongers, seafood processing shops, and restaurants. At the fishmongers, you can buy fresh seafood that was just landed that day.

At the adjacent Nakaura Seafood Restaurant, you can enjoy popular seafood dishes made with plenty of fresh seafood, such as the fatty tuna bowl, fresh fish bowl, and fried monkfish set meal.

In front of the store, there is a 7.7m tall statue of Gaina Kitaro and monuments of Nezumi-Otoko and Ittan Momen, which are popular photo spots.
