Iwashimizu Shrine, located in Takasago City, is an ancient shrine whose sacred object is a mysterious megalith known as the "Stone Treasure Hall," one of the Three Wonders of Japan. Its mystical appearance, which seems to float on the water's surface, makes it a popular power spot.
The huge stone structure called the Stone Treasure Hall is the object of worship. It is a powerful power spot. The entrance fee to the Stone Treasure Hall is 100 yen.
The huge stone structure is 6.49m wide, 5.71m high, 7.39m deep, and weighs about 465t. It is counted as one of the Three Wonders of Japan along with Shiogama at Shiogama Shrine in Miyagi and Tensakahoko at Kirishima Higashi Shrine in Miyazaki.
The biggest feature is its appearance that looks as if it is floating on the water. It is not actually submerged in water, but appears to be integrated with the surface of the pond below, so it is also called "floating stone". Its manufacturing method and purpose are still unknown.

From the peak, you can faintly see Himeji Castle in the distance between the mountains. You can also get a beautiful view of the entire Takamiyama somma.
