The Tempozan Ferris Wheel is a gigantic Ferris wheel that offers a panoramic view of Osaka Bay and the city. It is one of the largest in the world, and is illuminated with fantastic lights at night. There are also special see-through gondolas, allowing you to enjoy a thrilling stroll through the air.
The Tempozan Ferris Wheel is located in Tempozan Harbor Village, a landmark of the Osaka Bay Area. It is a giant Ferris wheel that is approximately 112.5 meters tall and 100 meters in diameter. It was once recognized by the Guinness World Records as one of the world's largest Ferris wheels, and it still has an outstanding presence today. If you take a gondola, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Osaka cityscape, Osaka Bay, and even the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the distance on a 15-minute aerial stroll. Especially on a sunny day, you will feel refreshed with the vast view.

In addition to the regular gondolas, the Ferris wheel is equipped with eight "see-through gondolas" with transparent floors. The view from your feet is full of thrills, and you can have an extraordinary experience as if you are floating in the air. It is recommended for those who want to fully enjoy the view from a high place or want to experience a little adventure. The see-through gondolas are very popular, so there may be a waiting time, but it is well worth it.

At night, the entire Ferris wheel is lit up with colorful LED lights, and its beauty is truly fantastic. It also has a function that displays the weather forecast for the day, letting you know the weather for the next day with a light pattern. Along with surrounding facilities such as Kaiyukan and Tempozan Marketplace, it is the perfect spot for couples and families to enjoy the night view of the Osaka Bay Area.

There is also the "Santa Maria" sightseeing cruise ship that allows you to tour the Osaka Bay Area from the sea.

[Trivia]
As of 2021, the world's largest Ferris wheel is certified by Guinness as "Ain Dubai" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 250 meters tall, overwhelming the second place and below, and is known as the world's largest Ferris wheel.

[Hidden Spot]
Before or after riding the Ferris wheel, we recommend visiting "Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho" in Tempozan Marketplace. The streetscape with a retro Showa atmosphere is reproduced, and you can taste nostalgic Osaka gourmet food. Also, near the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is the Legoland Discovery Center Osaka, which is a fun indoor facility recommended for families with children.
