This ancient shrine is surrounded by the history and nature of Gifu City, and is a popular power spot where one can receive a variety of blessings, including luck in winning and wealth.
Inaba Shrine is said to have been founded in the 14th year of Emperor Keikō (84 AD), and was moved to its current location in 1539 by the Sengoku daimyo Saito Dosan as the guardian deity of Inabayama Castle. The main shrine and shrine grove, standing at the foot of Mt. Kinka, convey the dignity of the past to the present day. The grounds are decorated with the natural beauty of the four seasons, and the stone steps and approach to the shrine, which retain their ancient appearance, welcome visitors.

In the assembly hall, which serves as the shrine office, daily prayers such as prayers for safe childbirth, warding off evil spirits, and car purification are available. In addition to issuing goshuin and omamori (temple seals) and amulets, the shrine also holds a variety of annual events such as the summer festival and Setsubun festival, making it a cultural hub deeply involved in the traditional events of the region.
