This is a shrine in Ichinomiya, Hida Province, located in Takayama City.
The main deity enshrined is Mizunashi Okami (collective name for Mitoshi Okami and 14 other deities). Mizunakami is worshiped as the god of water, who is enshrined at the watershed of the Jinzu River and the Hida River, and at Mt. . Therefore, it is said to have great divine authority as the ancestral deity of agriculture, the guardian deity of sericulture and livestock farming, and the guardian deity of longevity (healthy longevity).

Nearby is Garyuzakura, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.
