A popular swimming beach with excellent access from Kamakura Station. The shallow, calm beach is perfect for families. In the summer, the beach is lined with beach huts and bustling.
Yuigahama Beach is an attractive beach that is easily accessible, within walking distance of JR Kamakura Station. It is a popular beach where families with small children can safely enjoy swimming, with a wide sandy beach that stretches for about 900 meters, shallow waters, and relatively calm waves.

During the swimming season from early July to late August every year, many colorful "beach houses" open, and facilities such as showers, changing rooms, and lockers are available, as well as meals and drinks. Events such as summer festivals and fireworks displays are sometimes held, making it the most lively time of the year.

In addition to swimming, you can enjoy a variety of activities, such as beach volleyball, strolling on the sand, and watching the beautiful sunset at dusk. It also has a particularly open atmosphere among the Shonan area, making it a recommended beach for those who want to casually experience the resort atmosphere.

[Parking]
The prefectural Yuigahama Underground Parking Lot (188 spaces for regular cars, 12 for large vehicles) is nearby and is open from 6:00-21:00 in summer.
*During the swimming season, temporary paid parking lots may be set up nearby, but they can be very crowded. We strongly recommend using the paid parking lots around Kamakura Station or public transportation (approximately a 15-minute walk from JR Kamakura Station, or approximately a 5-minute walk from Enoshima Electric Railway's Yuigahama Station or Wadazuka Station).
