Jogasaki Coast is located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a ria coastline formed by lava flowing into Sagami Bay when Mt. Omuro erupted about 4,000 years ago, and eroded it over many years. A particular highlight is the Jogasaki Picnical Course (a hiking course of about 1 hour and 30 minutes) which is about 3 kilometers long and runs along the coastline. The highlight of this coastline is the thrilling Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, 23 meters high and 48 meters long. Therefore, it is essential to have coins or 1,000 yen bills to avoid causing trouble.
To get to other parking lots, it takes about 30 minutes on foot from the suspension bridge.
