Yufudake is also popular for mountain climbing and hiking. It takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes to climb from the Mt. Yufu trailhead to the summit. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the cityscape of Yufuin, Beppu Bay, and the Kokonoe Mountain Range.
There are free and paid parking lots.
