The altitude is 1,300m to 1,600m, and there is a staircase (1,445 steps) leading to the observation deck. The lift is no longer available.

From the observation deck, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Kanto Plain and the Nikko Mountain Range. On clear days, you may even be able to see Mt. Fuji.

Also, from late June to mid-July every year, about 260,000 Hemerocallis day lilies bloom in full glory, and the sight of the whole area dyed a vibrant yellow is truly spectacular. Many tourists and hikers visit the area due to the beauty of the scenery. Walking along the well-maintained promenade, you can observe the day lilies colonies up close, and feel the pretty flowers and the refreshing breeze of the plateau.

From April to June, you can see dogtooth violets and azaleas.
